Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 September 2026.
This policy explains what LRTMRT Live collects when you use the Service.
Data we store
- Device id — a random id stored in your browser, used to link your votes and enforce mutes/bans (created/last seen times; ban status if applicable).
- Incident reports — line, station, direction, type, optional train/cabin refs, remarks, timestamps. Reports are anonymous.
- Votes — which device voted still / cleared / not true on a report (votes can be changed later from the same device).
- Chat profile — joining chat requires a nickname, a telephone number and your gender. Other users only see a masked nickname. Your telephone number and gender are kept for service analysis; they are never shown publicly and never sent to other users.
- Chat messages — text, optional English translation cache, optional nearby-line label, timestamps.
- Technical — Cloudflare may process standard request logs (IP, user-agent) for security, rate limiting and the Turnstile captcha.
Location
Location is only read in your browser when you opt in (chat “share location” or “Use my location” when reporting). Coordinates are sent to our API to find a nearby station/line and are not published as raw lat/lon.
Translation
Non-English chat may be sent to a third-party free translation API (MyMemory) to show an English line under the original. Do not post secrets in chat.
Retention
Incident reports expire automatically by type. Chat messages and device records may be kept while the Service operates. Your chat profile history (nickname, telephone number, gender and related records) is retained even after you close your chat account.
Contact
For questions or ban appeals, contact the site operator with your device id.
